March 21, 2010 – On March 17, 2010, members of the military police arrested Salar Mihemed Seîd Çolî (b. 1979) in ʿAmudah. From there he was brought to the military police in al-Qamishli. The day before his arrest, Salar Mihemed Seîd Çolî was released from custody by a decision of the military judge in Aleppo.
Members of the Political Security Directorate in ʿAmudah had arrested Çolî on September 12, 2009, and brought him into pre-trial custody in al-Hasakah. From there he was transferred to Damascus and then to Aleppo. Salar Mihemed Seîd Çolî was accused of membership of an illegal organization, the Democratic Union Party (PYD).
